(Students receiving awards on stage)
From giving their all during the competition, to receiving results and feedback, followed by diagnostic reports and review lessons — the 2026 Kangaroo Study Spring Cup has finally arrived at its most memorable moment for every award-winning student ✨
On the afternoon of 3 April, the Spring Cup Award Ceremony was successfully held. More than just a ceremony, it was a celebration of effort, growth, and a moment truly worth remembering.
Let’s take a look back at the highlights of the day 👇

Registration & Arrival

At around 1PM, our team was already onsite preparing for the event.
Medals, certificates, cash prizes, vouchers, gift boxes, and name tags were all neatly arranged — each item representing recognition for the students’ hard work and achievements!

At the same time, the registration counter was fully set up.
Parents and students arrived one after another, signing in, collecting their name tags, and being guided into the venue by our team.
Smiles, excitement, and anticipation filled the space as the atmosphere gradually came alive 😊

Ceremony Begins

At 2PM, the ceremony officially began.
Our P1 Head Teacher, Tr Smith, took the stage as the host and led everyone through a recap of this year’s Spring Cup journey.
This year, participation exceeded 500 students, marking a new milestone. From the competition itself, to results release, diagnostic reports, review lessons, and masterclasses — students experienced continuous growth at every stage.

With the host guiding the flow, the energy in the room built up quickly — applause and cheers filled the venue as the long-awaited moment officially began.

Guest Sharing

(Tr Wenlong's sharing about how to deal with mistakes)
Before the award presentation, our S1 Head Teacher, Tr Wenlong, was invited on stage to share with both parents and students.
He first acknowledged the efforts of every participant. Although the paper was not easy, the students still persevered and gave it their best throughout the competition. For the P1–P3 students especially, being able to stay focused, keep thinking, and continue trying for a full hour was already an impressive achievement.

(parents & students listening)
He then shared about how to approach mistakes, emphasising that mistakes are not a sign of failure, but the most valuable learning opportunities.
Drawing on the Feynman Technique, he encouraged students to:
organise their mistakes
redo questions independently
explain their thinking clearly in simple terms
As he beautifully put it:
Mistakes are not the end, instead, they are the most direct starting point for real improvement.

Award Presentation

The most anticipated segment of the day — the award presentation — officially began.
Students were invited up one by one to the stage, receiving their well-deserved recognition amidst warm applause.

(students on stage)
Each student received medals, certificates, cash prizes, vouchers, and gift boxes.
Many beamed with joy as they stepped onto the stage — a moment of pride and achievement they will always remember.

For parents, this was equally meaningful.
Phones were raised, photos were taken, applause filled the room, to capture the moment their child stood on stage.
From focused effort during the competition, to confidently receiving recognition today, every step of growth was witnessed and supported.
Because in that moment, what we celebrate is not just the result —
but the courage, persistence, and confidence built along the way 💛

Student Speeches

We also invited two outstanding student representatives, Li Xinyuan and Wu Yikun, to share their experiences.
They spoke about their learning journey, strategies, and personal growth, which deeply resonates with both parents and fellow students.

(Student speeches)
A child’s growth is never defined by just one result.
It is reflected in their willingness to try, to persist, to think, and to slowly build confidence.
And these matter far more than any single score.

Closing Moments

As the ceremony came to an end, families began to leave the venue.
Some students stayed back to take photos with friends and teammates, while parents took the opportunity to speak with teachers about their child’s next steps.
The atmosphere remained warm, relaxed, and joyful throughout.

(Teachers & Students photos)
From the competition, to post-competition reports and lessons, and finally to this award ceremony, our goal has always been to offer more than just a result.
We hope to provide every child with a continuous and meaningful growth journey.
The awards may become memories,
but the thinking skills, confidence, and motivation built along the way will stay with them for much longer.

A Final Note

A heartfelt thank you to every student for your dedication and effort in the Spring Cup,
and to every parent for your trust, support, and encouragement throughout this journey.
May every child carry forward this recognition and confidence,
continue to challenge themselves, grow steadily,
and step by step, become the best version of themselves ✨
We look forward to seeing you again next time 💛
