P6 PSLE Free Mock Exam Recap!

Today(24 May),Kangaroo Study held this year’s first PSLE Mock Exam simultaneously at our Tai Seng and KAP campus.

The purpose of the mock exam is not just for students to complete a paper, but also to let them experience an exam setting that is closer to the actual PSLE. Through this experience, students can get used to the exam pace and format, better understand their current learning progress, and identify the areas they need to improve on.

For many students, the challenge is not only knowing how to solve the questions, but also whether they can stay focused, manage their time well, and perform steadily under exam conditions. This mock exam was therefore designed to give students a more realistic PSLE exam experience.

Mock Exam Highlights

On the exam day, many students arrived early and were guided by our teachers into their classrooms for registration before the exam started.

【Student Registration】

After the teachers briefed students on the exam rules and procedures, the mock exam officially began. As the papers were distributed, the exam venue gradually became quiet and focused.

Students quickly settled into exam mode and worked carefully through the papers, hoping to better understand their current learning progress through this mock exam.

【Paper 1 Begins】

After a short break, students returned for Paper 2. Following the first half of the exam, the second paper required even more focus and stamina. As the exam went on, students gradually settled into a more stable rhythm and continued working carefully through each question.

Marking of Papers

【Paper Marking in Progress】

After the exam ended, our teachers immediately began marking the papers and compiling the results.

Instead of focusing only on scores, our teachers pay closer attention to the areas where students tend to lose marks and the reasons behind those mistakes. Our teachers will also further review students’ performance and answering patterns to help them better understand their current learning situation.

What’s Next

01 Results & Individual Analysis Report

Students will progressively receive their mock exam results and individual analysis reports by 30 May.

The report will include a detailed breakdown of students’ performance, common mistakes, and weaker topic areas, together with targeted revision plans and practice recommendations. This helps students adjust their learning strategies more effectively and focus on the areas they need to improve on.

Results from this mock exam may also be used as an entrance test result for course enrollment. Parents who are interested in our programmes may contact Teacher Ma directly for consultation and registration details.

02 Online Paper Review Session

We will also be conducting an online paper review session on 26 May, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, via our YouTube channel, “PSLE Math with Kangaroo Study”. During the session, we will go through selected key questions from the mock paper and explain important concepts and exam techniques.

Parents may follow our YouTube channel or keep an eye on the group chat updates, as the livestream link will be shared in the group closer to the session. ⬇️

P6 June Holiday & PSLE Final Sprint Plan

The upcoming June Holiday will be a very important period for P6 students.

In Kangaroo Study’s June Holiday Programme, we will cover the key and difficult topics tested in PSLE Paper 2 and Prelim Paper 2 by modules. These questions are undoubtedly very challenging for the current P6 students. But if they can master all of them, they should no longer fear any difficult questions.

Starting from July, we will sprint towards the difficult questions of PSLE and Prelims. The most unique, strange, and challenging questions will be selected and put into Semester 2, allowing students to handle them with ease. To prepare for the actual exams, we have also planned mock exams to gradually train the students' exam techniques and to identify and fill any learning gaps.

In the final month, individual Q & A sessions will also be arranged so that every current student can enter the exam hall with no lingering doubts.

In the final month before PSLE, we will also arrange individual Q & A sessions, so that every enrolled student can clarify their doubts and enter the exam hall with a steadier and more confident mindset.
