In the second week after the mid-year break - July 15 - P5 students will be greeted by NMOS, a highly prestigious event in the field of primary school Olympiads.
During this period, we have received many inquiries from parents, “How can I revise efficiently in the limited time available to ensure that I get the desired results in the competition?” To help P5 students better prepare for the three most important competitions in primary school Olympiad, here is a summary of our recent lesson planning:
1. Term 1 Long Term Class:
With 6 lessons remaining in Term 1 Long Term, we will focus on the five geometric models and gradually expand into the study of three-dimensional geometry. The equal height model is the foundation of all types of geometry questions, and mastery of this model is a prerequisite for a deeper understanding of other geometric problems.
Currently, our Term 1 Long Term class are held on Saturdays from 9am - 11am and Sundays from 9am - 11am (children need to be in the classroom 20 minutes early for the pre-test and 20 minutes for the post-test).

2. NMOS Sprint Class:
In this short course, we will select the high-frequency points from the past 10 years' questions, and focus on the key modules of computation, application problems, geometry, number theory, counting and so on one by one.
The content of the class will be close to the style of NMOS questions and expand the knowledge, summarize the characteristics of the questions, summarize the methodology and share the techniques of different types of questions, so as to achieve accurate and efficient preparation for the exam.
Our NMOS Sprint Classes are held on Saturdays from 2pm - 4pm and Sundays from 2pm - 4pm. (Children need to enter the class 20 minutes early for the pre-test and 20 minutes for the post-test).

3. Term 2 Holiday Class:
The holiday class will build on the previous Term 1 lessons by expanding on the types of questions and thinking, for example, the concentration problem is an example of the application of percentage application questions. We make sure that your child knows all the variations and can apply them flexibly, so that he or she can easily cope with the difficult questions that arise in NMOS.
Our Term 2 Vacation Class is divided into three periods.
Period 1: (9am - 11am)
May 31~June 3, June 5~8
Period 2: (9am - 11am)
June 10th~13th, 15th~18th
Period 3: (630pm - 830pm)
June 20~23, 25~28

4. Term 3 Long Term Class:
Our Term 3 work will be more focused on the RMO and APMOPS at the beginning of P6, and we will progressively learn points that children have not been exposed to in these competitions, such as fractional cleavage in computation, circles and sectors in geometry, variable speed problems in itineraries, and multiple encounters and catch-ups, all of which are common points in the RMO and APMOPS. They are also new and difficult, and involve the examination of mathematical ideas such as difference-invariance, extremes, and inductive recursion.
Currently our Term 3 Long Term classes are held on Fridays 630pm - 830pm, Saturdays 9am - 11am, and Sundays 9am - 11am. (Children need to be in class 20 minutes early for the pre-test and 20 minutes for the post-test.

5. How to Enroll?
Prior to enrollment, students are required to take an entrance test so that the teacher can assess and match them with the right study class.
To make an appointment for the test, parents can contact me or Tr. Gao Xuming via WhatsApp/WeChat:

Students will also be able to experience first-hand our unique teaching style through test explanations.
