Then don't miss the Kangaroo Cup Calculation Competition! 1. Competition StructureThe competition consists of three key sections:

1-Primary School Calculation Fundamentals Assessment

This section evaluates students’ grasp of basic arithmetic skills acquired during primary school. The questions focus on operations involving integers, decimals, and fractions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

2-Secondary School Symbolic Calculation Assessment This section tests students’ familiarity with mathematical symbols commonly used in secondary school. Topics include negative numbers, powers, roots, and absolute values, with questions designed to gauge proficiency in applying these concepts.

3-Advanced Calculation Proficiency Assessment This section challenges students with complex, multi-step problems that integrate various calculation concepts. It aims to assess their ability to handle sophisticated mathematical operations and problem-solving scenarios. 2. Competition Details

Additionally, we will host an analysis seminar addressing common calculation challenges faced by students before entering secondary school, based on the overall results of the competition.
